81-84 Regal 83 T-Type Color Tri-Shield Inlay Wheel Center Cap with SNAP RING SET
Colored Tri-Shield Wheel Center Cap Set Redesigned using Snap Ring. New Reproduction Center Cap for the very few owners of a 1983 Regal T-Type. This replaces GM # 25506048 but with a much needed improvement.
In an effort to help the problematic center cap retaining tabs from cracking or breaking off which eventually results in the center cap flying off, we have now designed our reproduction caps with a "Snap Ring" to help strengthen the retaining tabs and prevent the center caps from coming off. The Red / White / Blue Buick Tri-Shield is an expensive German acrylic plastic with the engraved Tri-Shield like original and will not fade like a cheap plastic. It has an adhesive back to which you will be required to peel & stick each insert into the center cap. Please use Rubbing Alcohol to clean off any residue left in the manufacturing process to ensure proper adhesion. This center cap will fit any 3 inch opening for those that don't like the monotone color cap in other applications. This Listing is for ONE SET of 4 Snap Ring Style Tri-Shield Center Caps. 1980 - 1984 Regal Models equipped with the N78 Aluminum Wheel option (excluding the 82 1/2 Grand National).1981 - 1987 LeSabre / Electra & Estate Wagon (B-Body RWD) models equipped with N24 or N90 Aluminum Wheel option. Note: These wheels had two center cap options. One which covered the lug nut and the other, which is this center cap, that does not cover lug nuts.
Will also fit the Following Factory Wheels. 1984 - 1985 Grand National. 1978 - 1987 Buick Regal Models using the GNX Style Wheels (3 Inch Center Cap Opening) or the Aluminum 84-85 GN / 86-87 T-Type Wheels.
