Includes the correct countersink GM rivets! Today for your consideration is a Genuine GM New Old Stock Cadillac Eldorado trunk lock cover crest emblem. Correct for 1979 Eldorado only.

This is a ONE YEAR ONLY emblem! GM part #3079222 These are very hard to find in any condition and near impossible to find in NOS, it's larger then the more common 80 and up lock crests, it measures 2 3/4 from point to point, the holes are further apart so the later 80 up style will not mount up. New Never mounted and includes the correct GM rivets. This lock crest is in excellent NOS condition, beautiful bold vivid colors with a nice glossy finish, crisp shiny chrome. The rivets are the specific and correct "countersink" "closed-end" rivets, they not only secure the emblem but they draw it into its correct position like a tapered lug nut does with a wheel, and when you pop the rivet the end does not fall in between you trunk lid sheet metal and rattle from your stereo bass or collect dust and block the weep holes which can promote rust.
